Your Accommodation

The Apartment comprises of one large open living / dining / kitchen space, together with one bedroom which can be made up as 2 x twin beds or 1 x large king size bed. The bathroom has modern fittings and fixtures and a fully tiled, walk-in shower. Guests say that ‘the beds are super comfortable’ and ‘the shower is amazing’! There is a walk-in closet with plenty hanging space and coat hangers, a safe, hairdryer and clothes airer, iron and ironing board. The large private balcony has comfortable furniture and tables – perfect for your morning cuppa, watching the truly magnificent sunsets and perhaps inviting new friends round for a rum punch.

The kitchen is well equipped – whilst there is no microwave, it has all the household items you need for cooking and baking including sets of glassware and tableware. Both the bathroom and bedroom have fixed insect screens, allowing you to open the windows whilst discouraging flying visitors! There is a sliding insect screen on the balcony patio door. The condo is perfectly equipped for 2 adults max and is equally suitable for solo guests. It is unsuitable for children.

Location

Our third floor, well equipped, modern one-bedroom condo is located within a purpose built 4 storey apartment community with 2 lifts and 24/7 reception/security and excellent on site parking. The community benefits from an approx. 4 acre tropical garden and what we are told is the largest swimming pool on the island – fully refurbished in late 2023. Whilst the apartment has A/C and ceiling fans, its third floor location gives the benefit of the tropical breezes and beautiful views of the garden and sea in the distance. Many guests say they prefer the third to the fourth floor as it is cooler – and you have easy access to both the laundry & library.

The condo offers guests a high degree of both privacy and peace. Although a quiet location you are only 8 minutes walk to the centre of Holetown with easy access to bars / restaurants / supermarket / shops / bus route and, of course, the stunning beaches that the platinum coast has to offer. Whatever you choose to do from visiting local bars / partying / fine dining, from beach lounging to exploring the island – Golden View is the perfect location.

Local Amenities

There's good parking if you want to tour the island, if you prefer not to drive you will be within easy walking distance from all amenities from hi-class gourmet restaurants to good local eateries, quiet bars to enjoy a drink at sunset and lively fun establishments. Close to the bus route which for approx US$2 you'll get to explore all the West Coast of this beautiful island. Medical Centre approx 8 minutes walk.

Guest access

For security reasons no keys can be left in reception. You will be met by our representative and he / she will give you keys and answer any queries. At the end of your stay please make convenient arrangements to hand back the keys.

Low Season: 1st May to 31st October

£95 per night, plus cleaning charge of £50 per week or part of week

There is a one-off returnable damage deposit of £300 per booking

Cleaning & Laundry

All bed linen / towels & beach towels are supplied. For bookings of 7 nights there is no mid stay clean included. For longer stays 1 x housekeeping visit per stay is included – this covers cleaning, change of bedlinen and towels. This does not include personal items. Additional housekeeping can be arranged at an extra cost.

Membership of the Beach Club

We are members of Sunset Crest Property Owners’ Beach Club, situated beachside in Holetown, next to Paul Owens Restaurant – about 8 minutes’ walk away. The Club has a fabulous pool with chairs / loungers and modern, well-equipped shower facilities.

You will find a Membership Card in the condo and you are most welcome to use this during your stay. Please take care of the Membership Card – if it is lost or mislaid £25 will be deducted from your damage deposit.

Electricity

Electricity is extremely expensive in Barbados and we urge guests not to leave A/C running unnecessarily, and certainly when no one is in the apartment.

Included is a weekly allowance which equates to £15 which more than average usage when we stay in the apartment. Any electricity overrun will be deducted from your damage deposit.
